About Dr. Megan
Dr. Megan Covington (PhD) is a Higher Education scholar who writes about issues of social justice in higher education from a Black feminist and hip hop feminist lens. Her work has been published in Washington Times, Huffington Post, and Diverse Issues in Higher Education among others. She is a proud alum of North Carolina A&T State University and earned her PhD in Higher Education from Indiana University in 2021.
Dr. Megan is also the Founder and CEO of The People's Editor, a dissertation consulting, coaching, and editing company for Black women doctoral students. At The People’s Editor, Dr. Megan guides students through each phase of the dissertation process.
